Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal clinic servicing the areas of Ada, Cascade, East Grand Rapids, Forest Hills and the Southeast Grand Rapids area. We will accept routine care clients as well as those with medical, surgical, and dental issues. Dr. Michael A. Knowles and Dr. Thomas T. Stasiak are experienced in many types of illnesses, conditions and treatments. You will experience personal one on one care from our veterinarians.     Michael A. Knowles
    DVM & Owner

    Dr. Knowles graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at MSU in 1986. He practiced in Birmingham, Michigan for 3 years and in Chicago for 10 years. He has been at Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic since 1998. He worked with Dr. Richard Gremel before purchasing the practice with Dr. Stasiak in 1999.

    Thomas T. Stasiak
    DVM & Owner

    Dr. Stasiak graduated from Michigan State University in 1986 and started his career in Birmingham, Michigan. He met his wife Gayle and they moved to Grand Rapids in 1994 to start a family. Dr. Stasiak worked in Grand Rapids for 5 years before acquiring Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic in 1999 with Dr. Knowles.

    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Amanda graduated from Michigan State University's veterinary technician
    program with a Bachelors in Veterinary Medicine. She has been a licensed
    technician since 2010 and joined Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic in July
    of 2012. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball and spending
    time with her 4 cats.

  • Jess
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Jess was born and raise in Northern Michigan. She moved to Grand Rapids
    in 2002. In 2013 she graduated from Baker College with an Associates
    Degree in Veterinary Medicine and started at Forest Hills Veterinary
    Clinic. In her free time she enjoys working on her vehicle, cooking and
    spending time outdoors with her dogs Roxy and Skitz.

  • Jessica
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Jessica graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in
    Denver, CO in 2008. She moved from Jackson, MI to Grand Rapids after
    having her son in 2016. She started working at Forest Hills Veterinary
    Clinic in April 2017. Jessica has two cats, Isabel and Calie. She enjoys
    playing outside with her son, spending time with her family, camping
    and watching sports.

  • Holly
    Receptionist

    Holly comes to us from Clarksville, MI. She has her associates degree
    from Lansing Community College. She has been a part of the Forest Hills
    Veterinary Clinic team since 2014. She is the proud owner of 2 dogs,
    Bliss and Mari and has a cat named Cat. In her free time, Holly enjoys
    dog walks and snowboarding.

  • Heather
    Receptionist

    Heather was born in Grand Haven, Michigan. She graduated from GVSU in
    2005 with a B.S. in Biology. Working with animals for over 18 years at
    shelters and clinics has been her passion. She started working at Forest
    Hills Veterinary Clinic in 2015. She shares her home with Cricket, her
    Chihuahua and Nessa, her cat. She was married last summer in the summer
    sun.

  • Erin
    Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant

    Erin joined the Forest Hills Veterinary family June 2017. She studied
    veterinary technology at Baker College and marine mammal behavior, care
    and training at the Dolphin Research Center Training Institute. She has
    special interests in animal enrichment, psychology and training, as well
    as exotic animal husbandry. In her free time, she enjoys working on her
    jeep and going on adventurous walks with her dog Bo.Erin
